eBooks in Motion Inc. is a Delaware USA corporation. Our business address is 1759 Oceanside Boulevard, Suite C-204, Oceanside CA USA, 92054 (“eBooks” or the “Company,” “we” or “us.”) This document contains our privacy policy. If we make material changes to this policy, we will post prominent notification on our web site, notify you by e-mail, or both.

Company Software means the eBiM proprietary software that resides on our Site, and any additional software the Company uses in connection with it.
File(s) mean(s) digital files that may consist of text, online or offline images, multimedia or related data, and/or metadata.
Personal Information means personally identifiable information, as that term may be defined by your local laws.
Publication means a file, Produced (as that term is defined in our EULA) by our Services into a format you have selected from our supported platforms.
Services means all the services offered by eBooks in Motion including but not limited to Production and the use of the Company Software.
Site means the eBiM branded web site or sites operated or approved by the Company where eBiM user accounts are created, payments may be processed (by eBiM or a third party), and through which eBiM Services are delivered.
Your local laws means the laws and regulations in effect in the place where you legally reside.

Basic Policy
We comply with privacy laws applicable to our transactions with you. When and if privacy rules applicable to such transactions are governed by your local laws, we will follow those laws. eBooks does not track its customers over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising.

Personal Information
When you create a user account, you will be asked to enter your name and e-mail address. We use this information to identify you and allow access your user account. Your name and email address may also be used to tell you about new services, features, events and changes to this privacy policy. We will not use this information for anything else except as may be expressly mentioned in this policy. eBooks does not knowingly collect any information from users who are under 13 years of age.

Your files and publications
EBooks will have access to your uploaded files and publications for a brief period of time, but we do not undertake to store them, nor do we share your files or publications with anyone else unless you tell us to do so.

Data Security
We follow data security procedures and policies that are considered “good practice” in our industry and comply with applicable legal requirements. As stated earlier, we will only have your files and your publication on our site for a short time, and we do not undertake long-term storage.

eBooks uses one or more third party payment processors to process payments, such as credit cards and PayPal. The payment processor is solely responsible for protecting any information you give them. The payment processor’s privacy policy may be different from ours. The payment processor does not share your personal information with us.

Closing your account
If you close your account, your name, e-mail address and password will be deleted.

Governmental Requests
eBooks is obligated to respond to requests from governmental authorities. When we may legally do so, we will provide you with notice that such a request has been received if that request contains a specific demand for your information.

Usage Details
Your usage details such as time, frequency, duration and pattern of use, features used and the amount of storage used may be collected by eBooks to help us provide better service to our customers. For the same reason, we may also use the Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, referring URL, files accessed, errors generated, time zone, and other visitor details collected in our log files.

We may use temporary and permanent cookies to enhance your use of our site, but we do not share them with third parties. Temporary cookies are typically removed from your computer each time you close your browser, depending on your settings. However, we will retain certain cookies if you use our auto logon feature. If you have turned cookies off, you will not be able to use our services.
